For Immediate Release
Memories Were Made At The 1st Annual Tresa Street 4th Of July Jam
(Nashville)
- The 4th of July weather may have dampened
some decorations and watered the flowers, but it certainly
didn’t dampen the spirits of country music fans at the
1st Annual Tresa Street 4th of July Jam held
in Goodlettsville, TN. The show started off with a bang as
Master of Ceremony, Bob Underwood, welcomed everyone
and introduced 11 year old local artist, Abby Garrett,
singing our National Anthem. The first part of the
afternoon event ran from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The opening entertainment and staff band included
Bob Reed, Ernie Rowell, Earl Erb, Willie Rainsford,
and Rick Reed who did a beautiful job filling the grounds
with some great country music.
Special guest Steve Riley, from Nashville, took stage
performing some of country music’s finest. Then capturing
that good ol’ traditional sound and all the way from
Jackson, Georgia were country artists John Wise and
Frank Brannon, both members of the Slim Pickin’s Band.
Hendersonville’s own Scotty Blevins
also appeared and shared more of country‘s greatest hits.
Thirteen year old, “Miss Mini Minnie Pearl” from
Houston, Texas and paying tribute to the late Minnie Pearl,
was well received as she entertained the folks with her
contagious laughter and “slap your pappy” funnies.
To add to the variety of music were
traditional Bluegrass picker’s Paul Connor
and John Hagar who delighted the crowd with
a great bluegrass set. As the crowd
kept rolling in so did the storm, but as they say…
”The Show Must Go On” and that it did.
The show was simply moved from the
Long Hollow Jamboree event grounds
to inside at the Long Hollow Jamboree.
Tresa Street's band members,
Michael Radford, Walt Cunningham,
Lynn Owsley, Tommy Miller
Pat Pitts, Tom Wild, Sue Friddle
promptly took the stage and accompanied
the following entertainers.
Eugene Hardison, singer and proprietor of the
Long Hollow Jamboree kicked off the show to a
packed house and left them wanting more. Razzy Bailey,
followed with a string of his hits and his new country
single “Hank Wrote That “. David Chamberlain, songwriter
of 7 number one George Strait songs, took the stage
and performed several tunes from his new CD
including hits he has written for George, Johnny Paycheck,
Tanya Tucker, and several others.
The crowd was rockin and revved up as Tresa Street
took the stage and performed some of her original songs
including her 2002 chart single “Naturally”.
Everyone jumped to their feet as Country Music Superstar,
Freddie Hart graced the stage and performed some
of his many hits. He surprised the crowd when he called
on a spectator from the audience, his good friend
Johnny Counterfeit to join him on stage. Counterfeit,
a well known impressionist did several of his “impressions”
including country greats, Johnny Cash
& June Carter and Archie & Edith Bunker. He was hilarious.
Mr. Hart ended his segment of the show
with his monstrous hit “Easy Loving” and the crowd
roared as Freddie Hart left the stage.
Tresa Street took the stage again with her closing
song “America The Beautiful” to honor our country’s birthday
and left the crowd on their feet with a standing ovation.
Fans stood patiently while all the artists signed
autographs for over an hour and a half.
It was certainly a night to behold and quite the celebration.
If you didn’t see this year’s show, you missed
a wonderful musical moment in time for sure.
Memories were definitely made with a balance of
country music greats, newcomers and adoring
fans from all over the country. I can’t wait to see what
or who next year’s show will bring!

/x-tad-smaller>Loretta Johnson Memorial Concert “For the
Love of IFCO,”
to be Held June 9/x-tad-smaller>
NASHVILLE--A memorial concert for Loretta Johnson, one of three co-founders
of the International Fan Club Organization (IFCO), will be held June 9
from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Nashville Palace (2611 McGavock Pike,
Nashville–near Opryland). After a lengthy illness, Loretta passed away
from bone marrow cancer in Nashville on April 13th at Alive Hospice.
Over the past forty years, IFCO has promoted and helped
numerous country artists build their careers, and has also been
instrumental in developing shows and festivals throughout the US
and the UK. The annual “IFCO Fun Fest” show is widely considered
to be the precursor to “Fan Fair,” known today as the “CMA Music
Festival.”
This year, for the first time in over forty years,
there will be no IFCO show. Instead, this non-IFCO sponsored memorial for
Loretta Johnson will be held. Between running IFCO and taking care
of Loretta, there was not enough time for Loretta’s sisters,
IFCO co-founders Loudilla and Kay Johnson, to put together a show for 2009.
Artists currently scheduled to appear or perform at Loretta’s
memorial concert include: Billy
Yates, Charlie McCoy,
Linda Davis, Buddy Jewell, Ty Herndon, Michael Peterson,
Jimmie Van Zant, /x-tad-smaller>/fontfamily>
Steve Hall &
Shotgun Red/x-tad-smaller>/fontfamily>,
Ricky Lynn Gregg,
Deborah Allen, Baillie and the Boys, Annie Simms,
Tommy Cash, David Church, and Moore & Moore.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Loretta Johnson Medical Fund.
Because Loretta’s illness was lengthy, she left many medical bills.
Direct contributions to her medical fund can be made
to The Loretta Johnson Medical Fund,
Contribution Account, Bank of America, 133 Franklin Road,
Brentwood, TN 37027, (615) 791-3525.
A silent auction at the event will include items donated
by area businesses and celebrities. Those wishing to donate
an item to the auction may also contact Carrie Moore-Reed,

can be mailed to her at Third Coast Talent,

For Immediate Release:
Can The Internet And High Tech Streaming Video Replace Radio As A
Way To Advance The Music Careers Of New Artists?
(Nashville, TN) - Well, country music artist, Tresa Street, and her team are
banking on it. Although Street will not be the first Indie artist to use the
power of video on the net, she may be one of the first to foster a plan to
broadcast a regular music show. The hour long show called “Tresa Street Live”
will be broadcast on Friday nights from the Long Hollow Jamboree, a non alcohol
restaurant and dance hall, just outside Nashville in Goodlettsville, TN.
“Tresa Street Live” will utilize the powerful new broadcast technology being
offered by www.Ustream.tv. Not only does Ustream provide the technology to
stream live video broadcasts from anywhere in the world and record it online for
viewing later, they also offer profit sharing from their pool of sponsors.
The music performed during the show is licensed through B.M.I and ASCAP via
their new “Media License”. The internet will be used to promote the show,
attract new fans, introduce and sell new Indie music, both CD’s and downloads,
and offer talent buyers a front row seat to see Street perform. In addition to
the obvious promotional benefits for Tresa’s career, the show is expected to
eventually earn a profit by way of national and international sponsors. Ms.
Street said “as the show progresses we plan to improve the quality (more
cameras), add a pre-show MC, include other Indie artists as guests, and take
requests via “internet chat”.
It remains to be seen whether the internet and all the evolving video broadcast
technology will eventually replace current terrestrial radio and become the main
source for introducing new music and new artists to eager music fans. However,
based on the exploding popularity of Itunes, Wal-Mart, and other music download
sites, it certainly seems to be the “what’s next“ in artist development.
Tresa Street first gained international recognition with her 2002 release of a
song she wrote called “Naturally”. She has since released two commercial studio
CD’s, and developed a worldwide fan base via her web site and her touring
activities. She is a member of the CMA and regularly attends the CMA Music
Festival.

Tresa Street Leaves Georgiana Alabama Standing
Nashville, TN-- Tresa Street was one of the 2007 Hank Williams Festival
performers this year and literally left the crowd wanting more. She was well
received as she graced the stage with some of her originals and of course some
good ole’ traditional country classics. Tresa sang to 4,000 - 5,000 country
music fans and as she finished her show with the classic “The Death Of Hank
Williams” she was honored with a standing ovation and a crowd chanting for
more. Tresa returned to the stage with an encore song entitled “Last Light”.
One of the originals from her “Baby It’s You CD”.
Backstage Tresa was eagerly met by news reporters and new fans, then she was
hurried off to an area where she continued to sign autographs for over 1 1/2
hours straight. After meeting and greeting happy music fans from all over the
country, Tresa was personally escorted by the Mayor of Georgiana, Lynn Watson,
to the live remote with “Q94” WQZX FM radio for an interview. When asked what

good country music, so I feel right at home”. This year’s festival

The Country Music Fan Site Association, based in Lisbon, is hosting holiday auctions on EBay to benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital beginning NOW!!. More than 50 items, including signed items from Tresa Street, Bobby Pinson, Steve Azar and Jimmy Wayne, and more were donated to the group by fans and performers. All proceeds from the auctions, held through the group’s Fans Care campaign, will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which provides care for children with life-threatening illnesses, primarily childhood cancers. Tresa said; " I really enjoy helping where it's needed and these children's lives depend on us ! My fans/friends have big hearts and I know they will want to help too ! The CFMSA is a wonderful organization that helps us to work together to make a difference...it's kind of a Country Gives Together thing !! It's such a gratifying feeling teaming up with my fans/friends and being part of something of this magnitude, knowing that together we helped to make a difference. People helping people...It's a beautiful thing !!!" Items donated are open to bidding for one week starting this past Saturday. Please help Tresa help the children !!
